Green Lantern # 12 - Hal Jordan will be the Greatest Black Lantern

DC is slowly pulling the curtain on what they plan to do with Hal Jordan and Sinestro during the events of "The Third Army" starting with Green Lantern # 12.

In this issue Hal and Sinestro gets teleported back to Earth where they face off against a freshly dead Black Hand. After a few panels of talk, the two try to incapacitate Hand and try to escape. Much to their dismay, the entire cemetery's population has been revived by Hand's Black Lantern powers.

Hand recreates his brain and stands up. Outside the Hand residence Hal and Sinestro talk about the situation (instead of doing the right thing and flying out of their grasps). 

The book of the black shows Hand something that creeps the shit out of him. It's pretty obvious from my end as to what the book was trying to tell Black Hand. 

Outside Hal and Sinestro are starting to have a hard time in dealing with the zombies. Sinestro decides to use his Sinestro Corp battery and blast it with his green power ring to end the connection between the zombies and Black Hand's Black Lantern ring...

And yes, it seems like Hal Jordan will be joining the ranks of Black Lanterns for a good while. He may not just sit out The Third Army arc but also spend his time absent and on Black Lantern duty while Trinity War rages on New 52 Earth.
