New 52 Star Sapphire versus Pre Reboot Star Sapphire

I'm currently looking at Star Sapphire Carol Ferris from New Guardians # 0 and I can't help but make comparisons between the old costume against the new one...

 So lets take a look at the two costumes...

 

Here's Carol before the reboot. Some people call this costume "slutty" but I'll consider this sexy. And yes I won't deny that this has been a subject of fantasy for a lot of fanboys all over the world. 

On the other hand here's the new Star Sapphire costume for the New 52.

I kinda like this new costume as well simply because it's got elements from other incarnations of Star Sapphire existing at the moment.

Heck it's even got some elements from the Star Sapphire that made an appearance in Justice League Doom.

Plus the color tone is very similar to that of the Star Sapphire that we've seen in Justice League Unlimited...

It'll take some getting used to this new costume but we'll get there. Plus its more kid friendly. You can finally say, hey this is Hal Jordan's girlfriend without having kids oogling.
