In this new book I found several interesting stuff from this book. For starters there's the first appearance of John Lynch in the New 52 Universe. He's not just acting shady as usual but he is also talking to a bunch of enigmatic characters similar to Nick Fury and his shadow council in "The Avengers".
There's also the first in-page appearance of Black Canary's now-dead husband Terry Lance. Lynch reveals that both Dinah and Terry were his top agents [much like how Black Widow and Hawkeye were Fury's].
We also find Deathstroke [Slade Wilson] and Alex Fairchild [Caitlin Fairchild's father] working as bodyguards for a crime lord. It's these two that were the Lance's intended target.
I'm also interested what became of the other members of the group such as James Bronson and Captain Ramos...
There's also Amanda Waller (who is very active in Suicide Squad and now even in Green Lantern). Whatever happened to her partner however...
I love the appearance of Grifter on this issue, it was really a call back to the last WidCATs book...
The issue ends with the newly assembled team shuffling off to space with the now-historic disastrous mission...
