The film will still be helmed by Robert Rodriguez and will feature new cast members (read machete fodder) including Mel Gibson and Sofia Vergara (!). It wouldn't be Machete though without Machete star Danny Trejo who reprises his role as an ex-Federale who seeks justice and revenge.

If there's two people that I really want to see here it would be Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Alba. Cheech Marin won't be here also because, well, Robert De Niro and Don Johnson crucified the poor padre back in the first movie.
