Thor 2 Set Pics Feature Battle Between Thor and Malekith

New set pics for Thor 2: The Dark World features Thor actor Chris Hemsworth battling the sequel's baddie Malekith played by Christopher Eccleston.

Directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones), Thor: The Dark World finds the God of Thunder fighting to save the Nine Realms from the vengeful Malekith, who seeks to plunge the universe back into darkness. The film also stars Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins.

Thor: The Dark World opens Nov. 8, 2013.
