This issue continues the battle between the Rot mutated Teen Titans against the trio of Deadman, Poison Ivy and Alec Holland aka Swamp Thing. Swampy goes huge and literally stomps the invading rot creatures before confronting the creepy Parliament of Trees.
Anyway as the issue progresses we see that Swamp Thing and Deadman go out of the confines of the Parliament's new domain and confront the Rot and their champion, Anton Arcane. Crossing the sea, they encounter this...
Yeah if you're not familiar with that, its actually the Rot version of Starro the Conqueror...
Not only is the Starro here in this splash page we also have the guest appearance of what I assume to be Cliff Baker, son of Buddy "Animal Man" Baker. (Got corrected, the kid is actually William Arcane). One last nugget that appeared in this cliffhanger is Aquaman's trident. Next issue is shaping up to be a great fight.

ReplyDeleteOooooh, thanks for that info. Haven't picked up Swamp Thing since the reboot so I really thought it was Cliff. Lemme edit that out now.
