Iron Man 3 Rumors - Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers Appearance

A lot of new rumors plus a new poster for this year's Iron Man 3 today from various sources starring Robert Downey Jr and directed by Shane Black. 

Here's the rundown:

1. Iron Man 3 ending

Rumor has it that the ending for Iron Man 3 will have Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark fly off to the deep space. It's in space where Tony gets his first encounter with the Guardians of the Galaxy...

If the rumors are true then Marvel has used the logic behind what's transpiring in the comic books. In the one of the upcoming issues of Iron Man written by Kieron Gillen with art by Greg Land, it seems like Tony's intended target is in space which is the main reason for him to wear a deep space suit. 

The movie version rumor's reason for Stark's departure from Earth is still unknown but what is clear is that the move will bring him to an encounter with the Guardians.

The funny thing is that the rumor began when Funko revealed some of their upcoming Pop Vinyl figures which ties-in to the IRON MAN 3 movie.

2. Someone from the Avengers might drop by

While the first rumor had a lot more substance, this second rumor is flimsier. It's based on a recent interview with Downey where he's saying that Stark's new friends are not on the ground but somewhere in the atmosphere. It could be interpreted as either the Avengers or will revert back to the first rumor of Tony touching base with the Guardians. 

Either way this is exciting news for IRON MAN fans. IRON MAN 3 opens April 25,2013 and will be locally distributed by Walt Disney Pictures (Philippines).
