She-Ra Turns Traitor in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe # 1 ~ Spoilers

Looks like we won't be seeing She-Ra for a good while especially since her status has changed from being one of the good guys to being her twin brother Adam's main adversary in DC Comics' He-Man and the Masters of the Universe # 1.

In the new book written by Keith Giffen with art by Pop Mhan we find out that She-Ra has gone rogue and now sticks to calling herself Despara (which is kinda neat).

Here's what she looks like now in full battle armor.

Obviously her brother won't stand for that and we get the standard 'By the Power of Greyskull' transformation done by wicked artist Pop Mhan.

He-Man teams up with Warrior Goddess Teela (who looks a bit different from what she looked like back in the 80s) and tries to take down She-Ra Despara. It's only a little while when they Teela realizes that they're actually fighting Adora, Adam's twin sister and formerly known as She-Ra.

Waaaahhh! They chopped of She-Ra's beautiful blonde hair! Also what happened to her winged horse? Where the frak is Battle Cat?
