First Look at Evangeline Lily in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

Evangeline Lily (Lost) was seen in costume as she begins shooting for her scenes for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug". 

In the second movie, Lily will play the role of Tauriel, a new character which was never present in the book written by J.R.R. Tolkien. Her character's apparently just 600 years old and is also described as being a ruthless killer when the need arises.
