Know Your Star Wars Skywalker Family!

It's an old family tree infographic but it's a great visual for kids and adults who are new to the Star Wars lore. Oh and I'm not really sure if they are even using the Solo kids for the next Star Wars trilogy...

At this point in time we're still not sure whether or not the expanded universe characters including Ben Skywalker, Jaina Solo, Jacen Solo and Anakin Solo will be making an appearance. Hopefully they will but in case these 'Legacy' characters would be absent, it's still nice to know that one time or another, we enjoyed their stories.

... except for Anakin who fucking left behind Chewbacca, thereby dooming the Wookie to death.

One of the best things about Star Wars happens to be the lightsabers, regardless what era and what universe, there will always be somebody who's seen brandishing a lightsaber. In cinema however, there are only two people who really did a lot with the lightsaber and that's the father-and-son tandem of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. Here's a closer look at the lightsabers they've used in the original Star Wars trilogy.

Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace in 3D Starts Next Week

A little reminder fanboys, February 9 will be the official opening day for the re-released 3D version of Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace.

The film will star Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor and Ray Park as Darth Maul.
