New Trailer for MACHETE KILLS Released!

Danny Trejo is back as machete swingin', ex-federale Machete in this new trailer for Robert Rodriguez's MACHETE KILLS.

So let me sum this up nicely...

Machete is tasked by the President of the United States to stop a madman from blowing up the White House with a missile (whether it was a nuke or not I'm not sure).

Here's the trailer and go way past that for my comments and raves...

Looks insane and cool. Definitely gonna watch this or look out for this.

- Machete doesn't tweet. Nor does he die of electrocution. The dude is a walking, talking WMD.
- I love that Mel Gibson's career is starting to pick up again. The one time action hero plays a terrorist bent on blowing up the White House.
- Speaking of blow, Charlie Sheen as the POTUS is both fucked up and funny. The opening for the trailer alone is just him.
- I knew it! Lady Gaga was definitely a man all along. And it's not just any other man, it's Academy Award nominee Cuba Gooding Jr.
- Sophia Vergara and her 'double D's' will kill you both figuratively and literally
- I find Michelle Rodriguez sexay with the eyepatch. Also couldn't help but think of Old Snake which is un-sexy.
- No good screen time for former Spy Kids star Alex Vega.
- Antonio Banderas is in this but this trailer kinda makes his appearance weak.
- You know what I want to see? Machete versus Banderas' 'El Mariachi' character.
- Amber Price. whoa.

I'm unsure who'll be the local distributor of this movie here in the RP but regardless, I'm definitely going to watch this and review it like no other review can. Now for Sofia Vergara again.

Antonio Banderas and Annette Benning in "Ruby Sparks"

A once bestselling author who is suffering from writer’s block finds inspiration once again writing about his ideal girl whom he named Ruby Sparks. Paul Dano, whose remarkable performances in “Little Miss Sunshine” and “There Will Be Blood” stars in “Ruby Sparks,” a story that his real-life girlfriend Zoe Kazan wrote. The movie is fittingly brought to life by married pair of directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris whose previous feature “Little Miss Sunshine” was nominated for four Academy Awards® including Best Picture.

Paul Dano stars as Calvin who finds true love out his work of fiction. Inspired to write about his ideal girl after a long hiatus, Ruby Sparks suddenly comes to life and in Calvin’s apartment, filling every gap of his once solitary existence. But in Calvin’s case, fear is holding him back both in his professional and romantic pursuits. “He’s definitely missing something in his life. There’s an absence. There’s sort of a hole,” notes Dano.
