The Big Bang Theory Minimates Coming Soon

It's a minimates world now and to prove that point, here's a preview (of sorts) for the upcoming wave of THE BIG BANG THEORY minimates featuring our favorite cast of nerds and their significant others (except for Raj of course).

There's just one thing that worries me from all this. Back in the 2009 or probably 2007, the 'mates had so many licenses but they weren't selling so good. Remember back then there were minimates for Rocky, Back to the Future, The Good, the Bat and the Ugly and even the Spirit. So many, and then poof, market implosion and sudden loss of interest in the toy line. 

That's the sort of thing that makes me wonder if it's a good idea to have so many licenses selling all at the same time. Still, this wave looks nice. Think of how many TBBT minimates quips you can do with all this. 

The Walking Dead Minimates Wave 5 and TRU Series

Like I always say, you suck Toys R Us for hogging all the great minimates regardless if it's marvel minimates or these the Walking Dead minimates. Anyway, here's wave 5 of this set which will add more zombies and a new Rick Grimes figure.

Noteworthy Marvel Minimates Toys R Us Wave 18 Figures

Totally skipped the Marvel Now minimate figures being sold at TRU for the reason that they're overpriced and hard to come by. The next wave of Toys R Us exclusives however, I might not pass on as its got Wolverine (again) and another Winter Soldier.

My obvious pick from this set would be the Age of Ultron Wolverine and Golden Ultron plus the two-pack featuring Sam Wilson aka The Falcon and the good guy version of The Winter Soldier aka Bucky Barnes. The rest I'll probably sell, that's if I ever get to order this from the States given that these figures sell like hotcakes.

Perfect Halloween Stuff - Ghostbusters Minimates and StayPuft The Marshmallow Man

Diamond Select Toys will be putting out some awesome stuff just in time for Halloween starting with this:

So it's a slightly bigger version of the already-out-in-the-market 12" Staypuft Marshmallow Man Vinyl Bank. This one though is twice as big (and twice as angry as well) clocking in at 24". It retails for SRP: $124.99.

Marvel Minimates to Release Marvel Zombies Villain Set

Start getting your wallets ready as Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum brings us another set of Marvel Zombies, this time, rather than featuring zombified heroes, we're getting zombified villains.

A Diamond Select Release! Designed by Art Asylum! The end of days must be upon us, because Marvel Zombies Minimates are back! This time, DST and Art Asylum have zombified four already-frightening villains of the Marvel Universe: the Red Skull, the Green Goblin, Magneto and Galactus! Marvel Now Thunderbolts Minimates Coming Next Year

The Marvel Now version of the Thunderbolts are coming to a LCS near you come next year. This new box set will feature some of Marvel's toughest heroes working together on clandestine and dirty jobs no other heroes can touch!

Here's the breakdown of the characters (as if you didn't know them)

• Red Hulk (Thunderbolt Ross)
• Elektra
• Punisher
• Deadpool

And rather than give us an extra figure in the pack, we're given a different (not to mention weird) head sculpt for Rulk's alter ego...

Sucks though that they didn't include the Agent Venom version in this box set, that'd totally rock!

Thundercats Minimates Wave 5 featuring Bengali and More

The more obscure and lesser known Thundercats gets their moment in the spotlight with the announcement of the release of the fourth wave of Thundercats minimates from Art Asylum.

Interestingly enough, there's a jump as we haven't even seen which characters will appear for Wave 4.

Anyway, the characters from this wave are as follows: (From Left to Right) Pumyra, Berbil Ro-bear Bert, Lynx-O, Bengali and Ratar-O.

DST Reveals Iron Man 3 Minimates Featuring all the Cool Armors in the Movie

DST just shared several new photos for their Marvel Minimates line based on the characters from 'Iron Man 3' and they're all just the cool armors including the Heartbreaker armor and many more. And that's the good news.

Disney Minimates Peter Pan Preview

Wow! Diamond Select Toys just released new photos for the first ever Disney Minimates featuring the characters from Peter Pan. 

These new figures will coincide will the release of Peter Pan on Blu-Ray. There's a total of three sets here. The first and primary set features:

Toyfair 2013 Tomb Raider Minimates Coming Soon

Here's another great news for minimates collectors - toyfair 2013 proves that we will soon be seeing a Tomb Raider minimates wave based on the new Tomb Raider prequel game.

The new Tomb Raider minimates will sport two different Lara Croft figures as well as some various baddie figs.

Complete Look at Marvel Minimates Wave 48 Featuring the Fantastic Four

Compiled everything about the upcoming Fantastic Four centric Marvel minimates (wave 48) from DST's Facebook page...

This new wave will be hitting stores January 2013. I am confused however which is the variant figure here as I'm seeing a mullet-sporting Invisible Woman and at the same time the FF's classic villain Puppet Master together with daughter Alicia Masters.

Some Minimates Hauls for December - Rachel Grey, 80s Rogue and Sentinel

On a whim, I took some photos of the new Marvel Minimates that I acquired in the past few weeks.

Thanks to Kevin for the two figures (Rachel Grey aka Marvel Girl and Sentinel army builder.) And another big shout out to Minimates master Oneng who sold me the 80s Rogue. I'm still looking forward to finding the 80s Colossus minimate. It's a rather cool thing to look at these "flying" minis with a sky blue background. I'm scratching my head why I didn't do this before.

Amazon.com is jumping on "The Walking Dead" bandwagon with the release of new images for an upcoming exclusive set featuring two zombies, Michonne and Rick Grimes.

Diamond Select Toys brings us more Walking Dead Minimates. The first series of Walking Dead Minimates has been selling out in stores on both sides of the Atlantic, leading to a worldwide zombie shortage! In order to alleviate this shortage, Diamond Select Toys and Amazon.com have teamed up to offer an exclusive four-pack of Minimates, taken straight from the hit comic book series by Robert Kirkman. Now DST is bringing you more of the Best in Series 2!
