Like I always say, you suck Toys R Us for hogging all the great minimates regardless if it's marvel minimates or these the Walking Dead minimates. Anyway, here's wave 5 of this set which will add more zombies and a new Rick Grimes figure.

MICHAEL ROOKER is All Blue as Yondu - First Look

Actor MICHAEL ROOKER (The Walking Dead) was spotted on the set of Marvel Studios' GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY in all blue as he portrays the classic GOTG character Yondu.

That definitely is Michael Rooker. What I want to see though is that red mohawk/ fin that old-school Yondu used to wear around while kicking alien ass with guys like Major Victory.

Not too shabby looking if you ask me. It just hits all the right things. Again, it could've been better with the mohawk and the bows and arrows but that's just me.

McFarlane Toys Previews THE WALKING DEAD Series 5 Action Figures

Check out these previews released from McFarlane Toys featuring the fifth wave of figures for THE WALKING DEAD based on the characters from the TV Series on AMC.

The new figures will consist of Tyreese (as seen on top) together with fan-favorite Glen...

... and a surprise figure of Maggie. 

No details yet on when this is going to be released but damn, they look ready to fight Walkers. Maybe I should start collecting this series...

Three EW Covers for The Walking Dead Plus First Look at Bob Stookey

Entertainment Weekly has shown us the three covers for next month's issue featuring three fan-favorite cast members of "The Walking Dead" including Rick Grimes, Carl and Daryl Dixon.

Here are the other two covers with Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes and Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon.

Why is it that Reedus looks more like the main hero in this cover? Fans dig it so I guess that's the only other reason why.

Also while we're on the subject of The Walking Dead, here's our first look at the new character set to appear on TWD Season 4, Bob Stookey, a resident of the Woodlands area in the comic book.

Norman Reedus Teases New Zombie Terror for The Walking Dead Season 4

Actor Norman Reedus who plays fan favorite Daryl Dixon teases "The Walking Dead" fans about the zombies they would have to contend with for the show's fourth season. He says “They’ve introduced a way to make zombies scary again, and they’re terrifying. The new threat is just unreal. I can’t of course tell you what that is, but it’s brilliant writing.”

These new zombies are leaner and definitely creepier; more importantly this is going to give Rick Grimes and the rest of his group a hard time to evade and stave off.

The trailer for "The Walking Dead" season 4 is due to come out July 19 (Friday)

What I'm Getting at Free Comic Book Day 2013 at Setting the Record

It's Free Comic Book Day today (May 4) and just so you guys know I'll be visiting National Book Store over at Quezon Avenue to cover and join Comicx Hub and Castle Geek as they try to set the record for the most number of artists in attendance for an FCBD event.

Again, I'd like to invite you guys to pay your local comic stores a visit today (except for Comic Quest because I think they're selling the supposedly 'FREE' comics). Ehem, ehem, do visit SETTING THE RECORD first though.

The Walking Dead Minimates Wave 4 Preview

Here's a quick look at the fourth batch of The Walking Dead Minimates from Art Asylum and Diamond Select Toys based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Charlie Adlard and Tony Moore.

Here's the breakdown:

The cool thing here is that it's the Prison Lori and Alice figures that will be exclusively sold at LCS.

The Walking Dead's Michonne Now has a Statue

No, not that kind of statue but pretty close enough. MTV Geek shares this incredible decorative piece featuring Michonne in action with her trademark katana plus two unlucky zombies about to be dismembered.

The third wave of "The Walking Dead" minimates will draw inspiration from prison or more specifically the prison arc from the comic book.

Walking Dead Minimates Wave 1 Up for Pre-Order

Art Asylum has announced that The Walking Dead minimates wave 1 is now officially up for pre-order on the Diamond Select website.

If you live under a rock then you probably don't know this great title which was created by Robert Kirkman and stars the lead character Rick Grimes.

You saw a sneak peek of them at last month’s New York Toy Fair, but now the barn doors have been opened wide! Diamond Comics Distributors has opened up pre-orders for Diamond Select Toys’ first wave of Minimates based on the comic book The Walking Dead. Standing 2 inches tall, each 2-inch mini-figure sports 14 points of articulation and comes with interchangeable parts and accessories, including weapons for the human characters and body parts for the zombies. The first assortment of two-packs, due at comic shops and specialty stores in September, includes:
