It's pretty cute to note that Quire is still pining over the dead Stepford Cuckoo Esme who was the victim of the bloody Riot at Xaviers which he also instigated.
As a character, I see so much potential between Broo the Brood and the Idie the murderer girl (who was also partly responsible for the Schism between former friends Cyclops and Wolverine.
Another untapped character that's been underused for three issues straight now is the character Kid Gladiator together with his chaperone/ bodyguard Warbird. This issue however proves that this guy is going to be not only a powerhouse for the team but also a good character to like (he could be the team's Emma Frost when it comes to being pompous).
The book has also showed just how awesome Iceman is and how there's a looming relationship about to happen between him and the headmistress of the school, Kitty Pryde.
