Wolverine and the X-Men # 6 Spoilers

Spoilers up for Wolverine and the X-Men # 6 by Jason Aaron and Nick Bradshaw.

 

Here's what happened last issue: Wolverine and Quintin Quire flies off to space to get money to fund the JGSHL while Kitty Pryde finally reveals that she is suddenly pregnant prompting Beast and some of the book's quirky cast to shrink down and investigate, finding a million brood creatures living inside Kitty. 

This issue continues with Wolverine and Quire finally reaching their destination while the mysterious and violent alien with Brood for pets touches down on the mansion. While the mutant island Krakoa defeats a few of the alien invaders, the living island proves no match for the hulking monster.

 

Inside the mansion, Kitty manages to evade most of the Brood warriors. This has got to be the coolest moment for Kitty fans as she shows her awesomeness even in her delicate condition. Backed in a corner, she actually shoots down one of the Brood before being pummeled by this mysterious minotaur looking alien.

 

Back in space, both Logan and Quire earn money making them a target for the aliens who run the casino. This particular panel made me laugh hard. 

 

Back on Earth, and inside Kitty Pryde's body, things take a turn for the worst as the Brood infects Kid Gladiator which automatically turns him into one of them and totally pissing off the kid's bodyguard, Warbird. 

 

Totally enjoyed this issue and I'm really hoping we get to see a lot more from Aaron and the rest of his crew. This was effing perfect.
