In this issue Peter Parker tries to address the problem of Curt Connors aka The Lizard. After turning most of the senior staff of Horizon into Lizard men, Connors transforms himself into a sleeker and meaner looking Lizard.
Spidey and Lizard take the fight outside of Horizon where Connors gets distracted after seeing his dead wife and child in the bystanders, Connors relents which gives Spider-Man the opening that he needs to finally end Lizard's reign of terror.
Funny that this happened especially since Peter Parker took a vow to never take a life (more specifically "no one dies")...
Later Pete visits Rykers to check on The Lizard once more hoping that the cure works. He seems frustrated that nothing happens. Unknown to him, the cure worked but it was not able to change Connors back to his human form. But his mind is healed though which is a good thing.
In another part of the world, a new/old villain is shown...
The Devil Spider aka Roderick Kingsley. He'll be returning to the fold after finding out that his brother never became the Hobgoblin. Instead his brother is killed and the Hobgoblin gear gets stolen.
