Toyfair 2013: Marvel Legends with Phoenix Five Cyclops

Here's a look at some of the Marvel Legends figures that came out again during Toyfair 2013. It's a wave that's built around Wolverine (or more appropriately the X-Men). Images appear courtesy of Toyark as watermarked.

I'm not an expert in ROML (or Hasbro's Marvel Legends) but I do know that this is basically the repainted Uncanny X-Force Wolverine slapped around with some new details and colors. Still, since I do have the UXF Wolverine, it's still a nice figure.

This wave also marks the appearance of the Modern Sabretooth (you know, the one that's part of the new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants with Mystique). 

More importantly this new Wolverine wave will feature the Modern Cyclops, Emma Frost and Rogue figures.

Is it too much to ask that before this generation gets to their senior year, we finally get to see a perfect Emma Frost/ Rogue action figure (and not a 'half-decent' one). There are still some obvious flaws with these but hey, at least its still something. 

Two more things for the ROML wave... PUCK IS THE BUILD-A-FIGURE. 

I still have a hard time believing that the BAF from the last wave was Hit Monkey and now we get to see Puck. Whatever happened to those times when we buy the Toybiz Marvel Legends and get our asses kicked collectively because of how big the BAFs were? 

The biggest pull for this wave however is the fact that there's this little figure coming out called the "Phoenix Five Cyclops". 

The figure looks pretty damn cool and is definitely worth every penny that you'll spend on it. Hopefully though the toy stores and specialty shops here in the Philippines won't be as greedy
