First Look at 300: Rise of an Empire

The sequel to 300 entitled 300: Rise of an Empire has released several photos as well as their logo. Here's what they look like.

The film stars Sullivan Stapleton as Themistocles whom, just like King Leonidas, leads the battle against invading Persian armies led by god-king Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro).

Sullivan will have his hands full as he also needs to deal with another opponent, Artemisia played by Eva Green (who also appears in another Frank Miller generated movie, Sin City 2)... 

There's no sign or hint of anything that would reference Gerard Butler's King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans. The film will be distributed locally by Warner Bros. Pictures Philippines.
