How can I tell? Notice the shoulder straps? It's very similar to the one in the Matthew Vaughn directed X-Men: First Class. Oh and there's also the collar. That collar looked great on Michael Fassbender's Magneto but not so much for James McAvoy's Charles Xavier.
Maybe they changed the color scheme for X-Men: Days of Future Past from yellow and blue to blue and dark blue. Or maybe this is an entirely different uniform. One thing I'm certain is that it's definitely the suit that Professor X usually wears in the past three X-Men movies. This could be a hybrid of sorts.
Update (of sorts), it was also pointed out to me that this could also be the mutant detention camp uniform. After all, Days of Future Past relies heavily on the concentration camp during the opening parts of the story.
