The Final Trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness Plus New Kirk Poster

Star Trek Into Darkness has released it's final trailer today together with a new character poster featuring Captain Kirk (played by Chris Pine).

I'm sure we've all seen the 9 minute prologue to Star Trek: Into Darkness but for those that haven't there's a part here in the trailer where Kirk goes 'No She's Not' and then we see the Enterprise coming out of the ocean. It might seem like they got a new ship but that emergence from the sea scene came in an earlier mission. It's actually related to the poster I posted on top.

I find it pretty cool that Benedict Cumberbatch has a bigger ship than Kirk's Enterprise. And he's got more hard hitting weapons. Simply put, he's outgunned and outmatched the entire Star Trek gang.

Even better and more interesting lies in the fact that director J.J. Abrams actually made sure that the Enterprise goes down, and goes down badly in this sequel. 

And yes, there are Klingons here...

Star Trek: Into Darkness will be released locally thru Solar Entertainment.
