This weeks Uncanny X-Men # 4 by Brian Michael Bendis and Chris Bachalo reveals the final student from the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning who transfers over to the Charles Xavier School. Plus a look at what's happening to Magik.
Spoilers after the cut...
So going back to the main question, we already know that the Stepford Cuckoos rejoin their 'mother' Emma Frost in Cyclops' new school and new team. This was seen in a recent issue of All New X-Men. This issue focuses on the conversations that transpire between Emma and her Cuckoos.
This one's pretty interesting since we get to see how the Cuckoos have been handling their recent transfer to the JGSHL as well as seeing their abandonment issues.
Things go smoothly for the team (which I guess we'll be seeing more in All New X-Men) and they get transported back to their new HQ with another new student in tow...
It also looks good and promising except for the fact that Magik momentarily shows signs of pain then disappears only to reappear again with flames and skulls all around here.
VERDICT: 9/10
Ye old Bendis talkies issue is back here again. Still it's interesting to see how the new status quo has changed the way mutants look at Cyclops. The yammering between the younger, new mutants is also nice to read particularly that of Triage and Tempus. The continuity and the chronology however needs a little tweaking as it can be very confusing. I read it twice and the timeline still confounds me.
