Uncanny Avengers # 6 SPOILERS

Daniel Acuña brought me back this month thanks to his awesome lines and art for Uncanny Avengers # 8 which is also written by Rick Remender.

In this issue, it's basically a one-shot featuring a fight between a young Thor and Apocalypse.

The spoilers are seen after the cut.

Apocalypse makes the first move and lands the first blow at a shocked Thor.

Thor tries to fight with his enchanted axe but its does not even scratch Apocalypse's armor.

Thor flees the fight and asks help from the All-Father, Odin. Meanwhile Apocalypse deals with Kang who informs him of another target, Wolverine's ancestor Folkbern Logan.

The Thunder god gets some unlikely assistance from somebody claiming to be Loki and once Thor gets the necessary enchantment to stand a chance against Apocalypse, its revealed to be Kang the Conqueror and now Tom Hiddleston Loki.

In London, we get to meet Folkbern Logan who is working as a guard. Apocalypse sends his Horsemen to eliminate Logan...

... but gets a last minute save by Thor...

When Thor reaches Apocalypse, they fight and in one of the coolest scenes in this issue we get to see Thor do some serious damage on Apocalypse.

The Asgardian leaves and Logan gets this almost-familiar line from another guard.

The issue closes with an epilogue featuring Kang breaking in to the tomb of a dead Baron Mordo who's skull has been split open by Thor's enchanted axe Jarnbjorn.

VERDICT: 8/10

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this issue. Still there's something missing in this issue and maybe the other ancestors that Kang could've given Thor. Doesn't make sense why Kang would just give out two ancestors when he could give Apocalypse every information he may need.
