The animated series Ultimate Spider-Man will see a surprise visit from the new generation "Howling Commandos" come Halloween.
I still have apprehensions with this series but once you get to sit down and watch a couple of episodes, it kinda grows on you. The operative word being KINDA. There's still a lot of things that's wrong about this series but the humor and the themes are kinda up there with other classic Spidey animated series of yesteryear. Still I'm a bit annoyed by Marvel not 'honoring' the real Howling Commandos and instead supplanting said Commandos with the Monster Squad (which I last saw back when Frank Castle aka The Punisher was still Frankencastle).
Oh and they didn't have Blade the Vampire Hunter back then.
