I find it weird AND cute that people actually cosplay as 'sexy' versions of Pokemon; take for instance, Jessica Nigri who recently shared several photos of her cosplaying as Slowking.
Anyway here's what she looks like. Quick reminder though, Ms. Nigri's known for flaunting off 'Cleveland' so depending on where you work and what type of work you have, this might be a bit of NSFW...

Be the Wolverine Kinect Experience Launching
Got invited to a sampling of the Robinson's BE THE WOLVERINE Kinect Experience which will be touring the various Robinsons Malls all around Manila. And that was a total doozy (in a good kind).
Got to Robinson's Galleria around 4 which was also the time on the invitation that got sent my way. By the time I got to the Movieworld area, there were a lot of folks already having a quick snack courtesy of Yoshinoya and Miso Ten, both have their own places in Robinsons BTW.
Of course this was Wolverine event so cosplayers were definitely part of the menu. For example here's Ben of bendaresall.blogspot.com in Wolverine digs complete with a very cute set of claws (I'd like to get one of those and slice people in the office).
And then there was Ryan De Vera's take on the feral mutant...
Swear that was so awesome that I couldn't help but get my picture taken with him. And we both look like handsome Wolverine clones mind you. Handsome clones that are genetically modified to NOT surpass Hugh Jackman and his abs.
The actual event didn't linger too much. They even had Aaron of Magic 89.9 host the event and give out prizes which included a bottle opener and limited edition posters.
Took a video of Ben who tried out the BECOME THE WOLVERINE KINECT EXPERIENCE before I chowed down on free Japanese food.
The other Wolverine,Ryan, also tries his luck on the modified Kinect peripheral:
Every person that tries out the Kinect game gets to bring home a nifty The Wolverine bottle opener courtesy of 20th Century Fox. But there will be five individuals who will be lucky enough to bring home posters for THE WOLVERINE if they make it as one of the afternoon's top scorers. So far someone actually reached a score of 2 million that afternoon.
If you want to catch the BE THE WOLVERINE KINECT EXPERIENCE, here's the schedule according to Robinsons Malls
Oh and congratulations to the winners as well:

Jessica Nigri's Assassin's Creed IV Inspired Cosplay Shoot
Jessica Nigri. The girl who can get away with cosplaying just about anything and anyone. The apple of the common perverts eye as well as haters. Still you can't argue that she's popular in the US cosplay con circles. Here she is in a costume inspired by Edward Kenway from Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flags.
Oh and quick visit to Miss Nigri's fan page reveals that her partner-in-crime here is actually Monika Lee, and that she's playing the pirate Blackbeard. Photos appear courtesy of Martin Wong.

Who's The Best Looking Fujiko Cosplayer Among the Jinri, Yaya and Kisaki?
Cosplay fight! Our main subject is Lupin III's love interest Fujiko Mine. She's getting a lot of tributes lately so I decided to create this little poll:
Jinri Park
This cosplay shot was done by Jay Tablante only recently and featured Korean stunner/ DJ/ actress Jinri Park as Ms. Mine about to escape. I totally love the materials used and more importantly the way the shot was composed. If you need more information on this Korean beauty with a Filipina heart, just google her.
Yaya Han
Not so much with the costume but it's pretty obvious why this famous cosplayer has what it takes to be THE definitive Fujiko Mine cosplayer.
Kisaki Urumi
Miss Han might have some of the parts that's needed to cosplay Fujiko but world-famous cosplayer Kisakiurumi shows us why she's one of the prettiest and most dedicated cosplayers around.
So who do you guys think is the best among the best? Local brew Jinri? US based Yaya or awesome sauce Kisakiurumi?

Some photos also came from PSS [PinoySixthScale]. Anyways, more photos after the cut. And yes, I realize that the buxom girl is Pinoy Big Brother's Jahziel Manabat.
