Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Boasts of Mega Evolutions for Select Pokemon

Nintendo has made announcements that the upcoming POKEMON X and POKEMON Y for the 3DS will boast of something that should be worth the buzz. Mega evolutions for select pokemons.

These pokemon includes:

Mewtwo

Blaziken

Lucario

Ampharos 

Absol

Mawhile

So what happens is that you can call on the Pokemon's mega form by using a MEGA STONE. Much like how you'd use various elemental stones for Eevee or Thunder Stones to evolve Pikachu. The only catch here is once the battle is over, you pokemon returns to it's regular form.

Pretty nifty if you ask me.

The new Pokemon movie "Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens" will feature the return of a completely different Mewtwo. Orends shared a magazine scan of what Mewtwo would look like now.

I still prefer the old Mewtwo.
