Freddie Prinze Jr. Announced as Kanan for Star Wars Rebels

Described as the 'Cowboy Jedi' for the series, Kanan survived the purge of Order 66 and has been living a lie for some time now before the start of Star Wars Rebels.

Here's what Prinze had to say: "He's been forced to shove a massive part of his life under the bed, so to speak," Prinze said. "Is he living a lie? At a certain point, the lie kind of becomes the reality. And to suddenly be forced back into your Jedi ways, it'd be a bit of a challenge for him. And pretty awesome, too, when you can see what a Jedi can actually do."

New Teaser Trailer for STAR WARS: REBELS Feels Like

... a teaser. And it sucks bad that it's just a teaser...

All we fricking saw was a Star Destroyer moving away to reveal the logo to STAR WARS REBELS which will be shown on DISNEY XD.



It's a bummer yes, but it's still Star Wars so what the hell. 

Disney Announces Star Wars Rebels Series for 2014

After chronicling the story between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith; a new series will tell the stories of a darker time in STAR WARS REBELS. 

Here are a couple of details for this new series set for release 2014 (assumedly together with AVENGERS ASSEMBLE).
