New Trailers for World War Z and Les Miserables

Two new trailers came out today that being the first trailer for World War Z and the international trailer for Les Miserables. 

This stars Brad Pitt and is based on the novel by Max Brooks. 

Brad Pitt plays a U.N. employee racing against time and fate as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly zombie pandemic, and his Plan B shingle is producing. Mireille Enos ("Big Love", "The Killing") plays his wife, a mother of two girls. Their co-stars include Eric West, Matthew Fox, David Morse, and James Badge Dale.

Meanwhile there's also the new international trailer for Les Miserables which stars Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption–a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.



Again this classic novel by Victor Hugo was the first book that really made me shed a tear. Yes, Valjean dies. 

Both movies to be distributed locally by Solar-UIP. I hear Les Miserables gets a play date of January 2013 here in Manila due to the MMFF.
