My Top 5 Best Godzilla Fights
The second trailer for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' GODZILLA is out! From the early 1954 versions to the Millenium version, here's my top 5 picks for "The Best Godzilla Fights" in modern cinema.

Yahoo shared a new poster for Gareth Edwards' Godzilla 2014 reboot which is a different perspective of that HALO jump sequence we've seen in the trailer.

So if you're still wondering what Godzilla will look like when Gareth Edward's Godzilla comes out this year, you're in for a treat because a preview for the licensed action figure has hit the web.

If you haven't seen the trailer, you can find it HERE . There's a bit of articulation if you're into that kind of stuff which is all good.
It's a bit of a bummer because it's not what I envisioned. It's still better than the "Zilla" version from 1998 and it's still scary as heck. The snout is still an issue though. If you're not into the whole look but still want to buy a Godzilla figure based on the Toho-era then you might want to buy the MonsterArts version.

Warner Bros.Wins 2013 Box Office Crown, Announces 2014 Slate
In a record-breaking year, Warner Bros. Pictures emerged as the top-grossing studio for 2013, ranking number one in domestic, international and worldwide market shares. The Studio took in an estimated combined global box office gross of $5.035 billion, setting a new Warner Bros. benchmark and becoming only the second studio ever to cross the $5 billion threshold. It also marked the fifth consecutive year Warner Bros. has surpassed $4 billion worldwide, which is an industry record. Globally, the Studio has now ranked #1 or #2 in nine of the past ten years, also an industry record.
Warner Bros. has crossed the $1 billion mark, both domestically and internationally, 13 years in a row, another industry record. The Studio took in an estimated $1.895 billion at the domestic box office, with eight films crossing $100 million, including three that went on to gross more than $200 million. At the international box office, Warner Bros. set a new Studio record of $3.14 billion, marking the fourth consecutive year—and the sixth year overall—that it has earned more than $2 billion. Ten Warner Bros. releases earned more than $100 million internationally, of which seven grossed more than $200 million—both unprecedented achievements for the Studio. The First Official Look at 2014 Godzilla
Gareth Edwards definitely holds a winner for next year's GODZILLA. The trailer is due tonight and to tease us further here's our first legit look at the kaiju king.
So here's the context to the image above, there are basically paratroopers sent to the combat zone where Godzilla is wreaking huge damage. This is a POV of one of the paratroopers as he falls from the sky. Is that a missile about to hit the King of Monsters? Probably. Who knows.
Oh and director Gareth Edwards also confirms that it's not just Godzilla the world has to worry about as there are other monsters thrashing about.

Did A Licensing Convention Spoil the New Look for the 2014 Godzilla?
Superherohype shares a very simple tweet from Kaijucast regarding what might just be our first good look at Gareth Edward's GODZILLA.
Somethings off but it's not something to bitch about. Some of the guys from FILM + thinks that this is OK if not a bit EMO-ish with the adorable snout and all that. It's actually true but I still want to think of this new version of Godzilla as some of a kaiju version of Earl Sinclair from the TV series "Dinosaurs"
Update: Kaijucast has gone on the record to say that Legendary has already asked them to take the photo down which they did. I'm wondering if this post will have the same effect. Let's wait and see.

The Next Best Thing to See The New Godzilla is this Gif
I love gifs for the simple fact that you can't take them down easily. Probably by tomorrow, all the videos that are coming out of the woodwork featuring the SDCC trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures' GODZILLA would have been brought down. But this gif will stay, just like the King of Monsters himself.

First Official GODZILLA Poster
We've already seen the Mondo inspired SDCC 2013 exclusive Godzilla poster, now Legendary Pictures presents the first official teaser poster for the 2014 Godzilla movie.
The scale for this character from the film directed by Gareth Edwards is huge. Actually come to think of it, it's on the scale of the Jaegers and Kaiju from Guillermo Del Toro's "Pacific Rim".

It's that time of the year again when just about the cool stuff gets released and I go batshit crazy trying to catch up. Yep, it's Comic Con International once again. For our opening salvo, here's the GODZILLA poster unveiled for SDCC 2013.

Godzilla Announces Cast and Production Begins As Well
BURBANK, CA, March 18, 2013 – Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today the final principal cast for the upcoming tent pole “Godzilla.” Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche are starring in the film, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston.
The companies also announced that principal photography began today on location in Vancouver. Gareth Edwards is directing the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham. Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher are serving as executive producers alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.

SH MonsterArts Destroyah New Pics
We got our first peek at the SH MonsterArts Destroyah a couple of months ago and now here are some additional photos for this massive figure.
This new figure has been widely anticipated by a lot of toy collectors because of the quality and the realism of the fig. Of course this isn't the first time this kaiju character has been turned into a toy, but you can certainly bank on the quality and the articulation of this fig.

King Kong, from director Peter Jackson’s 2005 remake of the classic “King Kong,” represents the first foreign monster in the lineup. A New Image to Remind us that Gareth Edward's Godzilla Project is Still Ongoing

Fan Art for New Godzilla Movie Looks Really Solid

UPDATED: Warner Bros. and Legendary Screen Godzilla Test Footage
Fans were treated to a great test footage for the new Godzilla movie from Warner Bros. and Legendary Studios which would be directed by Gareth Edwards.
I would definitely pay good money to see this new film which promised to do away with everything that the US made 90s Godzilla movie tarnished. So that would mean no pregnant, asexual Godzilla. No Matthew Broderick and alas, no Jean Reno.

We get our bootlegged shot of the Big G himself. Thank god for bootleggers (eerrr, sometimes anyway).
