PREVIEWS - More Batman Figures including New 52 Greg Capullo and Son of Batman Figs

Toy Fair is in full swing and the said event showcased a lot of new DC Collectibles figures including a wave dedicated to the New 52 Batman series based on the designs of Batman artist Greg Capullo...

And it's not just limited to the heroes as there are now villains added to the list including Mr. Freeze (above) and Red Hood 1 (below)...

They also have Batman in his battle armor as seen in the Night of the Owls storyline...

That was in Batman # 9 mind you...

DC will also release the generic Batgirl and Nightwing figure for their ever-expanding New 52 figures. (below)

New 52 Batgirl

New 52 Nightwing

If you're a fan of DC Comics' animation line, then you'll also be pleased to know that DC Collectibles will be coming out with a pair of DC animated related stuff. There's Batman from Justice League: War

... and a weird looking Robin based on his appearance in the upcoming Son of Batman animated film.

Figures will come out within the year I'm told.

GEEK FASHION Batman and Family Wearing their Hoodies

What if Batman and the rest of his family wore hoodies on their day-off? I guess this is what they'd all look like.

Totally love the way the Robin logo was placed in Damian Wayne's hoodie.

Also the logo for Batwoman (Cathy Kane) and Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) looks great.

What's Behind the Gatefold Cover for Red Hood and the Outlaws # 19

What's behind the gatefold cover for Red Hood and the Outlaws # 19 for DC Comics' WTF Certified month?

In this post let's look at the full gatefold cover for Red Hood. We know that somebody's going to get hurt before the end of 'Death of the Family' so are these covers and solicits pointing to Jason Tood?

To hammer on the point, here's the other half of Red Hood and the Outlaws # 19 which features a very injured and very damaged Red Hood mask.

Of course we've also learned NOT to jump to conclusions simply based on the cover but DAMN that Joker reference/ imagery looks pretty creepy.

Batman # 15 Spoilers - Did the Joker Get Inside the Cave?

Spoilers up for Batman # 15 by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo from DC Comics.

In this new issue we find out what the Joker has on Batman (or not have depending on whether you believe Bruce Wayne's rationalization) and how the family reacts to this new development.

Read it after the cut.

We pick up after the events of Batman # 14 and we see Bats still trapped in the Joker's 'grasp'.Basically the Joker kicks Bruce's ass even after the latter manages to get himself out of his bindings.

After dreaming up a rather freaky and disturbing dream, Bruce Wayne finds himself back in the Batcave with the rest of his family (Nightwing, Red Robin, Red Hood, Robin & Batgirl).

The Family forces Bruce into telling them what Joker was talking about, specifically about a card. Then Batman begins his little tale...

It's also cool to know that at the very least, Batman Incorporated still fits into the general scheme of things in the Bat-books.

In Bruce's tale we find Bats and the Joker fighting once more...

The kicker here is whether or not The Joker did gain entry to the Batcave after Batman successfully foils his plans. The floating card in the dock is also the reason why Batman goes on and stick the Joker card in the Batcave.

Batman leaves the Bat-family and the cave in order to get to the bottom of this madness with the Joker leading him directly to the one place where the Clown prince fits right in... Arkham Asylum

So the real question here is whether or not The Joker really knows the real identity of Batman and the rest of his 'family'. Damn you Snyder and Capullo

I got mine from ComicxHub...

Red Hood and the Outlaws # 17 Cover

Its solicit season once again and I'm definitely to post comments on covers and solicits starting with this book - Red Hood and the Outlaws # 17.

Know what we haven't had any decent scene between Jason Todd and Bruce Wayne ever since the New 52 began. There've been scenes between Tim Drake and Todd but never between Batman and Red Hood.

Oh maybe you should count that one panel in the primer for "Night of the Owls" where we see Jason respond to Batman's distress signal. This cover is just awesome. Wouldn't mind buying the book for the cover alone.

Red Hood and the Outlaws # 8 Spoiler - A Brotherly Moment for Tim Drake and Jason Todd

An unexpected "cool" moment occurred in the pages of Red Hood and the Outlaws # 8 when Jason Todd sits down to have breakfast with his "brother" Tim Drake.

In this flashback scene set in New York, Jason meets Tim Drake and they trade information...

Batman # 8 Spoilers - Night of Owls Officially Begins

Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo has been working their buts off with the current volume of Batman and does so by starting "Night of Owls".

Rather than starting the crossover with just talking heads, Snyder and company provides an action-packed issue featuring the Court of Owls and an army of Talons invading Wayne Manor.

At the issue's beginning the owls do not know that Batman and Bruce Wayne are one and the same but later on, one of them finds out.

Red Hood and the Outlaws # 6 Spoilers Clears Things About Starfire and Jason Todd

Scott Lobdell was not joking when he said that we were only seeing the tip of the iceberg for the new, revamped Starfire and Red Hood for the book "Red Hood and the Outlaws" and RATO# 6 nails that point perfectly.

Find out about these two after the cut.
