A SINISTER SIX Reference Spotted in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Set

Is Mark Webb really pulling all the stops by bringing together the classic SINISTER SIX?

If we're going to believe the markings on the wall on the set of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 it looks like this is actually coming true.

I sincerely think that Webb will do it plus I'm really quite interested with the characters of choice. Obviously, they will go back and get Rhys Ifans' Lizard/ Curt Connors. They also have Jamie Foxx's Electro which will be the main antagonist for Peter Parker's alter-ego in ASM 2. We also have Paul Giamatti's THE RHINO, although we really haven't seen him yet. And the brains of the operation goes to Chris Cooper's Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin. 

That's two shy of six I know, and there's a lot of ground to cover between ASM 2 and ASM 3 so all we have to do is play the waiting game. One thing that you have to consider though is where the supposed 'VENOM' movie and spinoff falls under. Maybe that will evolve and come out of the events of ASM 3 and that Venom could be part of the Sinister Six. 

Let's just wait and see. 

The Amazing Spider-Man Grosses P271.54 Million, No. 1 in the Philippines for the 2nd Week

MANILA, July 9 – Comic book hero Peter Parker triumphantly returned to Philippine cinemas, re-igniting the Spider-Man film franchise with a ten-day nationwide gross of a staggering P271.54-million for “The Amazing Spider-Man.” This was announced today by Victor R. Cabrera, managing director of film distributor Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc.

After watching Columbia Picture's The Amazing Spider-Man and doing the ASM review as well, I thought about what happened to the Indian guy who was hasslin' Curt Connors during the first half of the film.

Now with the help of Collider, we actually find more about him. While the final cut that was shown in "The Amazing Spider-Man" felt like it had depth, the final fate of Connors' immediate supervisor was never shown. 

The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Review

Sony and Columbia's The Amazing Spider-Man is a fresh take on something thats been thrice already. This movie however is far from just a rehash. At the end of the flick, you might even say "Toby Who?"

I'm pretty sure that you guys must be reading other reviews saying it's dark and its emo and all that. I might be the minority in this one but I'm definitely going to say that this was a lot better compared to the Sam Raimi films starring Toby, James Franco and Kirsten Dunst (who was really irritating to watch as Mary Jane Watson).

Columbia Pictures Moves Amazing Spider-Man Release Date

Good days to all movie buffs and Spider-Man fans out there. Columbia Pictures has officially announced that the premiere of "The Amazing Spider-Man" has been moved to June 29 instead of its original July release date.

Columbia Pictures has just announced that The Amazing Spider-Man will now open in the Philippines on Friday, June 29, 2012. That's a five-day margin ahead of the film's original release date in Manila, US and North America which was supposedly July 4.

Focusing on an untold story that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story, the new film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, with Martin Sheen and Sally Field.
