New Poster and Trailer for 47 Ronin

Check out the new poster and trailer for '47 Ronin' starring Keanu Reeves and Rinko Kikuchi.

Keanu Reeves makes an explosive return to action-adventure in 47 Ronin. After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and restore honor to their people. Driven from their homes and dispersed across the land, this band of Ronin must seek the help of Kai (Reeves)—a half-breed they once rejected—as they fight their way across a savage world of mythic beasts, shape-shifting witchcraft and wondrous terrors.

As this exiled, enslaved outcast becomes their most deadly weapon, he will transform into the hero who inspires this band of outnumbered rebels to seize eternity.

It's definitely not an adaptation of the classic '47 Samurai' story we've all grown up with. Just like World War Z, they just used the name and the premise of actually having 47 Samurais join Keanu Reeves here and fight monsters and evil samurai.

Welcome back to Jurassic Park in 3-D

Universal Pictures will release Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking masterpiece Jurassic Park in 3D. With the 20th anniversary of one of Universal Pictures’ most enduring hits approaching, the studio decided to reissue the film in theaters across the world, approaching theater owners with the idea of a 3D post-conversion for one of Universal’s favorite adventures, stunningly restored in 4K.

As technology shifts and changes the manner in which filmmakers are able to tell stories, 3D has provided the ability to bring audiences into the Jurassic Park that STEVEN SPIELBERG was subconsciously shooting. This type of design not only allows for an unexpected, nostalgic journey for those who embraced the film in 1993.
