Jurassic Park 4 Rebranded as Jurassic World, Gets 2015 Release Date

Fans of the dinosaur fest that is Jurassic Park should be happy to know that Universal Studios is pushing through with their plans for a fourth installment of the JURASSIC PARK franchise. The fourth movie though will be entitled "JURASSIC WORLD".

The dinosaur filled suspense flick has been given a release date of June 12, 2015 and it comes out in 3D. Nice.

Steven Spielberg will be returning as a producer for the movie while Colin Trevorrow will be directing. No details or synopsis yet but if it's any help the film will follow a script written by Derek Connolly together with director Trevorrow. And rumor has it that our dear friends from Legendary Pictures is also planning to shell out moolah for the film.

Some think that the movie's new title will be lame but I like it. It's actually a fresh shot in the arm that the franchise needs especially since it's up against Earth's Mightiest Heroes together with the World's Finest. Oh and I'm also excited with regards to what the studio picked out for the movie's main predator. I read an article that Trevorrow will be using a bigger monster; bigger than T-Rex and JP3's Spinosaurus so that could spell something like the recent find - the Giganotosaurus.

The Best Jurassic Park Reference involved a Jeep and a Giraffe giving Chase

Quite possibly one of the best Jurassic Park reference/ occurrence that has popped out of the Internet was this cool video featuring a group of Safari white guys being chased on their jeep by a possibly deranged giraffe. It's so uncannily similar to that scene in the Steven Spielberg movie that a redditor decided to mash things up.

So just to refresh your memory here's how it looked like in the film:

And here's the African safari video with the berserk giraffe:

Dammit, that just worked sooo fine. it was so good in fact that I had to watch the video like five more times.

Welcome back to Jurassic Park in 3-D

Universal Pictures will release Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking masterpiece Jurassic Park in 3D. With the 20th anniversary of one of Universal Pictures’ most enduring hits approaching, the studio decided to reissue the film in theaters across the world, approaching theater owners with the idea of a 3D post-conversion for one of Universal’s favorite adventures, stunningly restored in 4K.

As technology shifts and changes the manner in which filmmakers are able to tell stories, 3D has provided the ability to bring audiences into the Jurassic Park that STEVEN SPIELBERG was subconsciously shooting. This type of design not only allows for an unexpected, nostalgic journey for those who embraced the film in 1993.

Lincoln Movie Review

My review for Dreamworks' Lincoln starring Daniel Day Lewis, Sally Field, Joseph Gordon Levitt directed by Steven Spielberg.

I really thought all political drama biopics would make me snooze but I've come to realize that depending on the character like what happened when I attended the press screening for Lincoln.
