Bwahahahaha! Hal thought Aquaman was just a sketch on Conan O' Brian's show. That's hilarious. Oh we forgot to mention that Hal was portrayed by Ryan Reynolds, the same guy from that 2 guys and a pizza place show.
I like the portrayal and characterization for Aquaman here. He looks a bit like John Lynch with the sideburns but he definitely looks really bad-ass. He's also got this air of authority around him...
It's not pompous, its just really all about being a natural born leader!
He calls out an army of Great White Sharks to kill. Why bother sullying yourself with your enemies' blood when you can have blood thirsty predators do that for you right?
And when all else fails, Arthur relies on his combat skills and that sick looking golden trident (which will be the focus of the next story arc in Aquaman).
