Spoilers for Green Lantern # 4 by Geoff Johns and Doug Manhke.

The story picks up from last month's issue with Hal Jordan seemingly getting disassembled when he enters the Sinestro Corps' yellow central battery. Mid-dismantling, the battery realizes that this is not Sinestro and shoots Hal Jordan out.

Sinestro surrenders to his own men. The Yellow basterds throw Hal inside a cell that depletes GL energy. Hal continues to fight to breakout...

Honestly, this book continues to deliver great art every month.
Realizing that it's pointless to fight, he uses the last of his energy to create a construct of Star Sapphire queen Carol Ferris.

Meanwhile Sinestro is with several members of the Sinestro Corps who try to get the green ring out of his fingers through torturous methods.

When they find out that getting the Green Lantern ring from their leader is impossible, they throw him back in a cell together with several civilians of Korugar who was being kept in the custody of the Sinestro Corps.

Inside the cell, Sinestro finds out first hand what happened when he left and also sees the errors of his ways. To cut things short, Hal makes a suggestion to Sinestro to churn out more Green Lantern rings and give said rings to the prisoners. Sinestro obliges.

With the rings on the prisoner's hands, Sinestro finds himself about to get jumped on by the prisoners he empowered....

Ofcourse we all know that Sinestro can control the rings actions and that this minor insurgence would be worth a few pages. One thing I found ugly for this issue was the fact that Johns chose to give more page/screen time to Hal Jordan rather than Sinestro who is really the new star of the show.
