Adam Hughes Provides Sexy Before Watchmen Cover

Adam Hughes returns not just to do covers for the just-announced "Before Watchmen" prequel books from DC Comics but will also be doing interior art as well.

Wait a minute, what is Dr. Manhattan doing with Silk Spectre???

Anyway, yes, DC Entertainment has officially confirmed that they will be doing spinoff books featuring the characters that were featured, created and written by legendary writer Alan Moore together with artist Dave Gibbons.

Each book will have its own writer and artist and will focus on a particular character from the book (and movie). Here's the full listing:

Before Watchmen - Silk Spectre (Darwyn Cooke and Amanda Connor)

Before Watchmen - Comedian by Brian Azzarello (w) and J.G. Jones (a)

Before Watchmen - Nite Owl by J. Michael Straczynski (w) and Joe Kubert, Andy Kubert (a)

Before Watchmen - Ozymandias by Len Wein (w) and Jae Lee (a)

Before Watchmen - Rorschach by Brian Azzarello (w) and Lee Bermejo (a)

Two additional books will also be published by two different art teams. The first will be entitled "Before Watchmen - Minutemen" written and drawn by talented Darwyn Cook.

(Loved the art by the way... Hollis Mason for the win)

And then there's also another book that will be shipped which will be written by Len Wein together with original coloritst John Higgins and its called "Before Watchmen - Crimson Corsair.

Whether this has got to do with the Black Freighter, we have yet to find out.
