Spoilers: Blackheart Returns in Venom Circle of Four

Venom # 13 is the starting shot for the book's mini-event "Circle of Four" and we get to see the setup and the plot for the story which features Venom, Red Hulk, Ghost Rider and X-23.

So find out who the main villain is and why the grim title. Plus how the eff did these four characters get in Las Vegas?

Okay before we get started, let me just say that this issue is so far the best issue of Venom that was illustrated by Tony Moore. The facial expression plus the sexy yet deadly figure of X-23 was what fans would really dig in this issue.

Now, going back to the main culprit, its actually the Devil Casino's owner Mr. Degri that's behind all the fuss. Yes, its the same casino where Venom and Jack O Lantern stole the Toxin symbiote before Flash snapped and near killed Jack (as illustrated by Lan Medina). But who is Mr. Degri and why is he collecting people's souls?

Apparently, Mr. Degri is none other than the demon Blackheart; the son of Marvel's Satan counterpart, Mephisto.

So anyway without spoiling too much plot points, the heroes get assembled in the heart of this new hell...

Oh and I completely forgot to mention that Johnny Blaze is somewhere in the book. He took over for Alejandra, the female Ghost Rider. X-23 was also added in not just because shes the clone of Wolverine but also because Blackheart bought her blood and cloned a bunch of female soldiers that have claws and are also bonded with symbiotes.

Blackheart comes prepared as a he brings out twisted mirror images of our characters just to provide more bloodshed next issue.

Seven hells, that is so cute! X-23 gets X-666 who's a teenager with lots of cuts while GR gets to square off against the Evangelist.

What's interesting to note is the Venom has an opponent whos a visual opposite. Rather than going black, Ichor is colored white and looks a like an angel. He's also got a hidden blade on his left arm and sprouts wings. Totally wicked and sounds like a good toy idea.

In Greek Mythology, Ichor is the ethereal golden fluid that is the blood of the gods and/or immortals.
