Some minor spoilers for Astonishing X-Men # 48 from Marvel Comics with the new creative team of Marjorie Liu and Mike Perkins.
The new book sees the formation of a new team which consists of members who are skirting the throes of being an X-Man once again (such as Northstar and Cecilia Reyes) as well as some regulars who left Utopia together with Wolverine.
One surprising addition to this team is Warbird...
It has begun what Warbird? What exactly has begun? And why are you holding a severed head like it was a bag or something?
Anyway, the addition of Wolverine and the X-Men's Warbird is a good fit in this revamped title. Maybe the beautiful Marjorie Liu can explore the budding romance between Iceman and Warbird. Oh yeah, that would be totally awesome.
Astonishing X-Men also brings back a group of mutants we haven't seen for quite some time now. These are no other than the Marauders.
And it seems like they have a new member in the form of the Chimera. Who I last saw during Matt Fraction's run on Uncanny X-Men.
