New 52 Shazam from DC Looks so Much Like Altair from Assassins Creed

DC Comics has revealed the new look for Captain Marvel who is now going to be called "Shazam" under the New 52 banner. 

But what exactly is wrong with this picture? 

Are purist sharpening their pitchforks and lighting their torches with the new look that was given to the big, red cheese? 

Also I wanted to ask why the heck is Shazam wearing a cowl which makes him look like Assassins Creed characters Ezio and Altair and even Assassins Creed III star Connor. 

The new look and Shazam himself will be making an appearance in the backup pages of Justice League which will be written by Geoff Johns with art by Gary Frank. 

And yes, the alter-ego will still be Billy Batson. 

I honestly don't care about his looks as long as we get to understand how he comes to be and witness for ourselves the origins of this revamped and renamed character.

For Assassins creed lovers: This was meant to make a comparison with a pinch of humor. No need to bust out your hidden blades on me guys.
