The third season of AMC's The Walking Dead just got bigger thanks to the announcement of the addition of actress Danai Gurira to the cast to portray Michonne.
A quick visit to IMDB shows that the awesome looking Ms. Gurira has appeared in mostly Television shows including:
- Lie to Me
- Law and Order
- Life of Mars
- Law and Order Criminal Intent
So while this news might really be new, there are a lot of people who have actually head of this in the past. Really optimistic that she could do a lot with her role and we get to see more action sequences of her as the bad-ass that she is.
