Batman # 16 Spoilers - An Electrifying Ending

Batman # 16 came out this week and I must admit that the book managed to save me from completely dropping it from my real world comic book pull list. If anything the last page for the book got me hankering for the next issue (which would be the finale for "Death of the Family").

I want to spill ALL the beans but I'd rather not since I have this new understanding of responsibility when it comes to spoilers. Anyway just to add more context for this page. Batman reaches the top floor of Arkham Asylum which The Joker has converted into his own lil throne room. A throne room which he has built in order to pay tribute to Batman. 

Now for the fun bits. Walking up the flight of stairs Batman encounters a venerable list of his whos-who. He encounters Mr. Freeze who freezes Batman's horse...

Followed by Clayface and Scarecrow.

When he reaches the main room, he also goes on to witness this:

Yeah so it seems like Batman is taking a dive so that he could save his family. The same family that's being tormented by The Joker.
