Uncanny X-Force # 1 Review and Massive Spoilers

Sam Humphries made me shout "what the hell" with the release of Uncanny X-Force # 1 together with artist Ron Garney. Here are the spoilers for this week's fabulous release.

Read more of the review and the spoiler after the cut.

Review:

This. This is a light-hearted version of Uncanny X-Force. You can even say that it's actually X-Force lite. But while it might seem like it's light, don't think that this is a mere pushover. It actually carries some heavy shit particularly the bits which features Psylocke.

Here's a cool thing about the book, while it introduces readers to who each and every character is (with the exception of Bishop) it still manages to briefly inform readers of what has happened. The newly mohawked Storm for example is still reeling from what has happened during AvX. I'd say about a half of the book deals with Spiral and her shenanigans which is good and all but the main kicker comes towards the closing bit.

Verdict: 4 out of 5

Spoiler:

Did you know that during the start of this latest volume, we find out that Psylocke has been missing for 6 months now. We could only infer that she spent some time with Fantomex after the end of Rick Remender's "Uncanny X-Force" run.

So what's the main shocker for Uncanny X-Force # 1? Fucking A it's this!

So Cluster and Fantomex have started dating. What about Betsy?
