The initial reports from Deadline did not mention any specific role for the REVENGE star but word on the street is that she's going to be the love interest for Chris Evans' Steve Rogers replacing Hayley Altwell's Peggy Carter. Incidentally, Sharon is the niece of Cap's old wartime girlfriend.
If she ever gets cast VanCamp will be joining the rest of the old cast including Evans, Sebastian Stan, Samuel L. Jackson, Toby Jones, Scarlett Johansson. Some of the new cast members include Frank Grillo as Crossbones and Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka Falcon.
