More photos plus my reaction to everything after the cut...
Okay for the record I like that the Hollywood is re-introducing Robocop to the younger generation but they've taken quite a few important stuff and turned it sideways. The original Robocop had a silver/ chrome exosuit which made him really the definition of his monicker, a Robot Cop. That's getting a 21st century bump and we're seeing a different kind of Robocop here. He looks more like SWATcop rather than Robocop.
Secondly, what the hell is this???
Why is his right hand exposed? It just doesn't make sense that Alex Murphy's hand is exposed. Does it have something to do with him being a quick draw or an expert marksman? Plus the gun looks pretty 'blah'. I lurved the old sidearm Peter Weller used to draw in the old Robocop trilogy.
Regardless, I'm still going to give the new Robocop a try when it comes out in theaters.
