FL3 Illustration Firm Teases Us with A Rule 63 Captain Barbell Short

Frances Luna III Illustration firm boys RH Quilantang, Aaron Felizmenio and Wan Mañanita have sent me a link to their INDIEPENDENCE DAY for that Freedom Day surprise they had in store. It's actually a tribute to the late Mars Ravello's classic character Captain Barbell.

I love the redesign, the light wings and even the belt. Although I'm also reminded of Hit Girl with the way this new Captain Barbell was drawn. Of course I don't want to ruin everything, so moosey over to their blog and read the entire story. Trust me, there's another surprise waiting in the wing.
