UNO Magazine returns to the newsstands with two very special issues: UNO X and UNO issue 88.

FHM Philippines Teases the Cover Girl for July 2013

No idea who she is but my esteemed colleague in the blogging/pop culture biz Jonas Diego thinks that it could be Alodia Gosiengfiao.

Could it be? After all, Marian Rivera already posed for the men's magazine so what's stopping other celebs from doing a quasi-sexy shoot for FHM? 

Of course this is still speculation at the moment, give it a few days until we get to the main reveal.

Alodia Gosiengfiao as Lynn Minmay

Robotech / Macross fans should take a look at this amazing piece done by Jay Tablante featuring cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao as galactic songstress Lynn Minmay, protagonist Rick Hunter's main love interest.

Pretty impressive CG background for this shot. At the moment I'm actually wondering what the compositing process was for the elements here such as the backdrop and the exterior (I'm assuming this is only one part of the battleship that is the Super Fortress). Oh Alodia looks kawaii (as usual).

Jay Tablante yesterday shared his latest opus, the completed cosplay shoot featuring actress Carla Abellana as Jean Grey/ Phoenix.

That makes it three for three, as he's done two other Phoenixes in the past (including one with Alodia Gosiengfiao as the White Phoenix of the Crown).
