Spoilers for Incredible Hulk # 7.1 written by Jason Aaron with art by Jefte Palo (who I am looking forward on seeing in this book after the next arc Stay Angry).
The new issue picks up instantly after the supposed "death" of Bruce Banner. Rather than mourn for his death, the Hulk is rather apathetic about the whole thing and even shuns the sexual advances of his short-term ally Amanda Von Doom.
Von Doom orders the surveillance of the Hulk, who at the time starts enjoying his newfound freedom and does all sorts of cool things like swimming with a pod of killer whales...
He also:
- barbecues a great white shark
- Gets "sacrificed" by a tribe of cannibals
- rides a Triceratops into the sunset
- turns a volcano into his own private jacuzzi
He also...
- Parodies Indiana Jones
- Climbs what I assume is Mt. Everest while dodging lightning
- Battles an octopus underwater for some deep sea treasure
- Roasts a moose
In the end of his three day joyride he winds up in a bar to do something that Wolverine enjoyed pretty well - drink beer.
Red She-Hulk (Betty Ross Banner) picks a fight with the Hulk which causes property damage. Its a heavy metal battle that gets interrupted by a C-List villain named "The Orb" whose MO is to steal peoples' eyes.
After easily dismissing the Orb, Betty opens up to the Hulk...
Eventually the two end up having sex...
The moment Hulk lets his guard down Banner once again manifests thus nullifying the whole "death" and "separation" of Banner and the Hulk.
On a side note, I really enjoyed the art for this issue. I really hope that Jefte Palo gets this art stint after Stay Angry because I would totally buy all the single issues for this book if that were the case.
Special thanks to Comicx Hub for this great comic book!
