Three Unlettered Pages for Uncanny X-Men # 1

Marvel Comics has released a three page preview for the Uncanny X-Men # 1 by Brian Michael Bendis and Chris Bachalo.

Check out the aforementioned three page preview after the cut.

While typing I noticed that there's a significant costume change for Magneto as his costume no longer covers his arms. It's like he wanted to copy Wolverine's costume. Or it might be more of a trick in terms of the art and the things that I assume are hair on Lensherr's arms are actually just small hatching to put more emphasis on the shadows.

Hey everybody, there's Phil Coulson walking around with the 616 Black Nick Fury and director Maria Hill! Too bad we never get to see what they're talking about since the preview's unlettered. Still pretty cool though.

I swear I'm going to get one of those 'Cyclops was Right' shirts being sold on customoko.com by longtime TFNBSEO reader Jon Campos. Then when that shirt gets delivered, I'm going to get a picture with this damned pose.

Seriously its on my to-do list for January-February.

Anyway the third page features a tease on who this 'new' team would face off. Very classic. It's just like in the 90's X-Men cartoon series where the very first episode features the Sentinels attacking a mall in search of Jubilee.

The new Uncanny book will be hitting stores February 13.

UPDATE: Here's a teaser done by Frazer Irving.
