Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier Spotted on Set

Actor Sebastian Stan was seen recently wearing his Winter Soldier duds for Marvel Studios' "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". And well, I'll reserve the comments for after the cut. 

So it looks like the New Goblin Winter Soldier has finally appeared and is ready to kick the crap out of Chris Evans' Captain America. As much as I would be giddy like a schoolboy over this new photo, I'm mildly amused and wildly saddened. 


Why on god's green earth does Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, wear something more akin to James Franco's 'New Goblin' mask from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3? I serious hope Marvel is just going to run with this for just a few scenes as opposed to making him look like this for the rest of the movie. A friend on Facebook did point out to me that the this might just be an initial look for the Winter Soldier as there are signs of what looks to be another mask underneath the one he's currently wearing. 

As for what scene this may be, lets assume that this would be the bombing scene back in Ed Brubaker's Captain America run, where the character first re-emerged after decades of being considered 'dead'. I seriously want to believe that this would be that scene.
