Colm Feore Rumored to be The Vulture for Amazing Spider-Man 2

Actor Colm Feore's role in Marc Webb has been a tight secret with several speculators thinking that he'll be another villain waiting in the wings. Today Comicbookmovie confirms that Feore will indeed play a villain for the third movie and that he'll be playing a character that can fly - The Vulture.

From what I understood from the post, Feore will play Adrian Toomes, the brilliant old man who created an electro-magnetic harness then turns to a life of crime as The Vulture. The slow exposition and transformation will happen in Amazing Spider-Man 2 but the actual fights might occur in Amazing Spider-Man 3.


The site also confirmed long-standing rumors that actor Chris Cooper will become the Green Goblin in this film; with the death of Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy also in the horizon. With so many villains appearing in just one film, it's hard not to consider the possibility that this is a setup for a Sinister Six vs Spider-Man showdown for the third movie.
