Could Karen Gillian Be Angela for Guardians of the Galaxy?

Redditors are recently talking about a newspaper article in England claiming that Doctor Who star Karen Gillian will be playing the role of former Spawn main character Angela in Marvel Studio's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Though I like this bit of news, I'm still apprehensive as to how this would work seeing that Marvel's plans for the Neil Gaiman creation involves an appearance in Age of Ultron # 10 as well as a few guest appearances in Guardians of the Galaxy. 

No apprehensions for the actress herself though as she looks so darn gorgeous.
